Abstract

A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a decentralised wireless network that does not rely on pre-existing infrastructure. Instead, it is each node’s responsibility to forward data according to its specified routing protocol. MANET is a networking paradigm that facilitates users to communicate with one another by establishing a temporary network without any form of centralised administrative infrastructure. In MANET, specialised routing protocols are needed to cope with the distinctive characteristic of MANET, which is time-varying topology due to anticipated frequent node mobility. This paper can maintain the network performance stably even in the presence of malicious nodes because it ensures reliability evaluation for nodes and the path setting between nodes and secure data transmission. The superior performance of the proposed trust-based model security routing technique was confirmed through comparative experiments for packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay time, the number of control packets, network throughput, and average path length. Several routing protocols have been developed to overcome this problem. It is difficult to determine which protocols may perform well under several network scenarios, such as network size, topology, etc. This paper provides an overview of a wide range of existing routing protocols, focusing on their characteristics and functionality. Using this work involves the performance evaluation of a designed MANET scenario with variation in transmission power using Ad-hoc on-demand multipath distance vector routing protocol at variable node configuration. The proposed technique performance of the designed MANET scenario is evaluated using several qualitative performance metrics for optimum performance and the best possible answer using a network simulator.

Abstract

The brain is our body's most delicate organ, which controls the centre capacities and attributes inside the body and is predictable to the National mind tumour Society. Inside the US, around 700,000 individuals acknowledge a cerebrum tumour, and in this manner, the figure will ascend to 887,000 by the highest point of 2021. Medical Imaging for Medical Diagnosis has benefited from ongoing advancements in the field of profound learning. CNN is the most commonly used AI calculation for visual learning and image recognition. The convolutional neural network (CNN) technique used in data augmentation and image processing is essentially proposed in our postulation to filter MRI images of the cerebral cortex into carcinogenic and non-harmful categories. This investigation introduces a programmed mind tumours arrangement utilising profound learning-based Visual Geometric Group (VGG) 16, which is applied to the data set followed by data collection, data augmentation, data preprocessing, and VGG 16 model. In the simulation, the overall accuracy of the model is 96%.

Abstract

Hybrid Wireless Networks are the next generation of wireless networks that provide scalability for mobile ad hoc networks while expanding the coverage of wireless infrastructure networks. MANET is a network that consists of wireless mobile devices, mobility, and scalability. MANETs are famous because of these key details. A thorough survey of QoS and routing protocols is conducted. This study examines the benefits and drawbacks of various QoS routing protocols. A thorough investigation has also been conducted on the current problems and feature trials in the field of MANETs. Every routing protocol must provide quality Service to improve bandwidth, delay, and energy consumption. Any ad hoc network routing protocol aims to address these issues. As a result, it becomes a critical parameter for MANETs to develop competent routing and QoS procedures. Increasing application demand and end-user support necessitate performance optimisation. In order to meet this requirement, this paper proposes a hybrid optimisation technique that combines Ant Colony Optimization and Fitness Distance Ratio-based Particle Swarm Optimisation. To mitigate the trade-offs in QoS achievement, ACO is focused on maximising network throughput. At the same time, FDRPSO is directed to fine-tune the ACO solution concerning energy and overhead. This survey will be useful for the newly proposed routing protocols with improved QoS in MANETs.
